Tec Dive (ON BOARD SUB SURFACE SCUBA BOAT)

• Jul - China Wall (approx 90 minute dive) and Cement Co Wreck (approx. 30 minute dive), Moreton Bay Marine Park
• Aug - Barwon Banks (approx 90 minute dive)
• Sep - St Pauls Wreck (approx 60 minute dive) & Hutchinson's Shoal (approx 30 minute dive), Moreton Bay Marine Park
• Oct - NA
• Nov - Barwon Banks (approx 90 minute dive)
• Dec - Cherubs Cave (approx 70 minute dive) & Cement Co Wreck (approx 30 minute dive), Moreton Bay Marine Park

All dives to the Mooloolaba Reefs and Barwon Banks will meet at Scuba World.

We will be chartering the Sub Surface Scuba boat once a month to run a 2 hour 'tec' dive. ONLY SSI Extended Range Nitrox qualified divers (or divers with a similar qualification) or above are able to experience this trip.

Sub Surface Scuba have a smaller boat (9 metres long). We are restricting the numbers to a maximum of 6 divers plus a Scuba World Instructor. This will guarantee each tec diver has adequate space for their equipment. 

Each dive will be planned as a 'live' dive unless we're diving at night.

We plan to dive the following sites:

·        Mooloolaba Reefs

·        Barwon Banks

·        Moreton Bay Marine Park - Cement Co, China Wall, Hutchinson and the St Pauls Wreck just to name a few

·        The 'Barge' off Kawana

·        Explore dives between Point Cartwright and Moreton Bay Marine Park

Platinum members: $100 - not standby, this price is for a guaranteed seat.

Non-members: $150

Barwon Banks, Moreton Bay Marine Park, The 'Barge' and explore dives between Point Cartwright and Moreton Bay Marine Park dive sites

Platinum members: $150 - not standby, this price is for a guaranteed seat.

Non-members: $200

IMPORTANT: All of the above prices are for the seat on the boat ONLY. Gas & rental equipment prices are on the next page in the 'optional extras' section.

If you require any rental equipment you need to collect this from Scuba World the morning of your dive or the day before when the weather is confirmed. Exact times will be organised the day before your dive when the weather is confirmed. It's your responsibility to confirm the time/ day you will be collecting your equipment by contacting Scuba World.

After the Tec dive we would love you to join us for a drink and some food at a restaurant close to Scuba World. This will give the group an opportunity to get to know each other better, talk about the dive and plan future dives locally, domestically and internationally. Woohoo!
